July 10-13th Sheepskin Tanning Workshop
Las day to sign up is two weeks before first day of the workshop as long as there’s space.
Over the full three days we will go through the process of transforming a raw sheepskin into a beautiful rug using the completely natural and ancient process of brain/smoke tan. please plan to arrive Thursday evening and leave Sunday evening/afternoon.
Camping will be available on the land. we will share a provided dinner every evening and simple breakfast foods in the morning.Because of the nature of these workshops refunds are not available. More info will be provided via email before the event.
This workshop will take place in Petrolia, Ca at a site along the un-dammed Mattole River. About 1.5 hrs from Arcata. Please plan to arrive on the first evening for our first meal together.
Total cost for the workshop is $650. BIPOC rate is half cost so a total of $325 for the weekend.
There will be a non-refundable deposit of $250 that will be taken off the total price. The remaining balance will be needed to be paid two weeks before we start. Thanks for understanding, and can’t wait to tan hides with y’all!
